Multidisciplinary Consulting

Diagnose, design and deliver

We bring a rich and deep group of experts to your corporate table to bring simple solutions that maximize efficiency and profitability.

In our complex healthcare world solutions only come from a diverse panel of bright and highly experienced minds that understand and embrace the creative potential of teams. It is far more about who we are together than what each brings to the team per se. While there is no substitute for gifted individual contributions, without a collegial and collaborative egalitarian environment that honors boldness, transparency and diversity any talent would fall far short of its potential. We bring great diversity to your team, be it in deep clinical understanding, all encompassing complex administrative approaches, IT organization, or government contracting. Far more important is that we are intimately familiar with the synergy that our two teams can create when we all sit down to solve your problems. So many consulting teams come in as “the expert”. At Concentricity Consulting Solutions, we understand and honor your considerable expertise and humbly come alongside you to help you solve the thorniest problems. Servant Leadership is our mantra. Give us a try. You’ll be glad you did.

Allscripts was founded in 1986 and is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, with key operations also located in Raleigh, North Carolina.and Atlanta, Georgia In 2008, Allscripts was merged with the healthcare systems operations of rival Misys, which was founded in 1979. In 2010, Allscripts-Misys merged with another major healthcare information technology competitor, Eclipsys. In March 2013, Allscripts acquired dbMotion, Ltd., a supplier of community health solutions and Jardogs LLC, a patient engagement solution provider, both privately held. The Allscripts Enterprise EHR makes wide use of the GE/IDX Centricity framework for healthcare applications. Users are first authenticated through the framework, and then to the EHR application itself. In addition, the Allscripts EHR uses IDX connectR as its native interface mapping and translation utility.[7] Rather than a single database, the Enterprise EHR makes use of 10+ databases working together on the same server.

ICD-10

We provide our clients with ICD-10 solutions that get the job done. ICD-10 is the 10th revision of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD), a medical classification list by the World Health Organization (WHO). It codes for diseases, signs and symptoms, abnormal findings, complaints, social circumstances, and external causes of injury or diseases. The code set allows more than 14,400 different codes and permits the tracking of many new diagnoses. The codes can be expanded to over 16,000 codes by using optional sub-classifications. The detail reported by ICD can be further increased, with a simplified multi-axial approach, by using codes meant to be reported in a separate data field. The WHO provides detailed information about ICD online, and makes available a set of materials online, such as an ICD-10 online browser, ICD-10 Training, ICD-10 online training, ICD-10 online training support, and study guide materials for download. The International version of ICD should not be confused with national Clinical Modifications of ICD that frequently include much more detail, and sometimes have separate sections for procedures. The US ICD-10 CM, for instance, has some 68,000 codes. The US also has ICD-10 PCS, a procedure code system not used by other countries that contains 76,000 codes. Work on ICD-10 began in 1983 and was completed in 1992.

Siemens and its subsidiaries employ around 360,000 people across nearly 190 countries and reported global revenue of approximately $80 billion in 2012.
